Håkan Hardenberger



Swedish trumpet player Håkan Hardenberger was born in Malmö, Sweden, in 1961. He began studying the trumpet at the age of eight under Bo Nilsson in Malmö and continued his studies both at the Paris Conservatoire under Pierre Thibaud, and in Los Angeles under Thomas Stevens. His virtuosity was quickly recognized and today he is regarded as one of the most charismatic musicians of his generation.
