Carl-Axel Dominique



Swedish composer and pianist Carl-Axel Dominique (b. 1939) studied at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm and at the Juilliard School of Music in New York. He has worked not only as a composer but also as a pianist, in which capacity he has been especially prominent as an interpreter of Messiaen's Catalogue d'oiseaux. As a composer he is influenced by the group 'La Jeune France'.
