Hans-Kristian Kjos Sörensen



Norwegian composer and percussionist Hans-Kristian Kjos Sörensen (b. 1965) started his career by playing different instruments in a variety of musical styles. Ha has won several national and international prizes, including the CIEM competition in Geneva and was awarded an unanimous first prize cum laude at the Versailles Conservatory. After a number of seasons as principal percussionist of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, he now pursues a career as a soloist and chamber musician.
