Helasvuo, Mikael
The Finnish flutist Mikael Helasvuo (born 1948) is a sensitive and intellectual musician; he is untiring in his search for new works and his study of the various aspects of musical expression. He is in great demand as soloist and chamber musician in both the modern and the Baroque repertoire. And he is also teaching flute playing at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki.
