Elena Papandreou

Greek guitarist Elena Papandreou (b.1966) obtained the Diploma in Advanced Studies in Musical Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music, England, in 1986. She won first prize in three international competitions, Maria Callas (Greece), Gargnano (Italy) and Allesandria (Italy). In 1992 she was honoured by the Academy of Athens with the Spyros Motsenigos Prize. Elena Papandreou teaches at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki and at the National Conservatory of Athens.
