Ullén, Fredrik
Swedish pianist Fredrik Ullén (born 1968) performs extensively as a soloist and chamber musician in Sweden and abroad, and has made numerous radio recordings.
His performances and recordings both of contemporary music often in direct collaboration with the composer and of the classical/romantic literature have received enthusiastic acclaim by critics, in Sweden and internationally.
Since 2007 member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. He is also active as a neuroscientist, leading a research group at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm that studies the effects of musical training on the human brain.
