Fredrik Ullén



Swedish pianist Fredrik Ullén (born 1968) performs extensively as a soloist and chamber musician in Sweden and abroad, and has made numerous radio recordings.
His performances and recordings both of contemporary music ­ often in direct collaboration with the composer ­ and of the classical/romantic literature have received enthusiastic acclaim by critics, in Sweden and internationally.
Since 2007 member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. He is also active as a neuroscientist, leading a research group at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm that studies the effects of musical training on the human brain.
